Worthless Makes It All Worthwhile!
'Worthless', now Bo, loves to eat and drink like there's no tomorrow! He's filled out beautifully, notice the sheen on his coat.
Bo will now be attending all the shows, and will be our spokesdog for the organization.

'Worthless' as he was formerly called, is now to be the Official Spokesdog of Dogs Deserve Better.

(Bo died April 25, 2003. Read his eulogy...)

Bo is a very special dog to me. He is the dog you see pictured in the opener to the site, and on the donations page. I always promised him a better life, and he is my inspiration for Dogs Deserve Better. I never knew his name was Worthless, and I now tell him all the time, "You aren't Worthless anymore, Boy."

He attended his first craft fair booth November 23 & 24, 2002, and was incredibly well-behaved and well-received. He was a perfect gentleman, and drew a crowd at every opportunity. People continually remarked on how anyone could chain such a sweet dog outside, and as such he's the perfect dog to be the spokesman! He epitomizes what is horribly wrong with society that we continue to allow beautiful, loving animals to waste away on chains.

When you look at this face, and see how happy he is to be loved and well-fed and warm, you know it is all worthwhile.

Please help fund the project! It's a large undertaking, and we need your help today. Any donations you make will be tax deductible.

Check our volunteer page for more ideas of how you can get involved.
Also, consider buying an item of clothing from our store, and help us
out in more ways than one! You will be providing us with donation dollars
and at the same time spreading the word in an uplifting, fun,
and beautiful message.
