Freedom for Chained Dogs the World Over

It started to rain right after I set up and it was a miserable day. Several times I looked at my black banner with a picture of JoJo on it and I cried. JoJo was never to know love, freedom or comfort and knowing that at the end of the day I would remove the chain from myself, it broke my heart in two for the dogs will never know the freedom that we all take for granted. Many young people came to my booth and talked about their neighbors who keep their dogs chained and how much they really hate it. They took materials to give their neighbors and so, even though I was soaking wet at the end, I think it was a productive day. See you next year!
