Thank you for contacting Dogs Deserve Better about a new member of your family. We would love to match you with a great rescue dog. Our goal is to get dogs off chains, out of pens and into responsible, loving, permanent homes. Pleaes fill out this form so that we may find out more about you and your family. This will help assure that you and your dog are the right fit for each other.Just fill in the form and click on submit. We will receive your adoption form by email and get back to you immediately.
Please read the below and then answer every question:
A tax-deductible donation (to be specified) is required. This helps cover the medical and boarding costs so that we may continue to rescue other chained dogs. (Fees vary depending on location...please contact the person you're adopting from for your fee.)
Thank you for filling out the Dogs Deserve Better adoption application. Pet ownership is a serious committment that the entire household needs to consider and agree to before the animal is adopted. We want to ensure that each adoptive household is aware of and willing and able to accept the physical and financial responsibilities of pet ownership. Not everyone that desires a pet is ready to properly care for one.
By submitting the below form, you are agreeing that: I understand all of the questions and have completely read the application and understand that this Dogs Deserve Better dog MUST be indoors and this dog will not be chained/penned outside. I further understand that if for any reason I want to give up this dog, I will call Dogs Deserve Better, and undergo a 14 day waiting period in which representatives of DDB work with me to resolve any issues with the dog. I also understand that a representative from the organization may visit the dog to ensure that it is well taken care of; if we find that the dog has been neglected or abused in any way or for any reason, we reserve the right to remove the dog from the premises. Your form submission below authorizes us to do so as necessary, and automatically transfers ownership rights of said dog back to Dogs Deserve Better at that time.
Important Notice: Dogs Deserve Better make no guarantee in reference to the health of the dog. The dog is adopted "AS IS" and the adopter assumes responsibility for the treatment of and all existing conditions or any other conditions of physical or temperment changes that may occur. While the rescuer makes every effort to place only healthy animals, the rescuer cannot guarantee the health of any animal, due to factors beyond the rescuers control. The rescuer shall not be held responsible for any medical expenses which may be incurred, hereby expressly excluding any impled or express warranties, merchantability, or fitness for any particular purpose, including without limitation and warranties regarding health, temperment or whether the animal is housebroken. Dogs Deserve Better is not liable if the dog bites anyone after transferred to my guardianship, you are solely liable for the dog's behaviour. I understand that I am hereafter solely responsible for the behaviour of the dog. Dogs Deserve Better does not refund donations if the dogs is returned. You may choose another dog if you feel there's one better suited to your home and needs. This is a legally binding contract.
