Thanks to you, our raffle brought in just over $1000 for Dogs Deserve
Better! The Winners were as follow: Brenda Truett, Orlando,
Florida, won the Shepheard Pet Portrait. Sharon Athanasiou of Hollywood,
Florida, won the Grimes Pet Portrait. And Amy Quinlan, Mineral Ridge,

Pet
Portraits, the
most-valued prizes at our online Auctions, are the Grand Prizes
in our May Raffle to benefit Dogs Deserve Better!
Most pet portraits cost at least $150, and depending on the
artist can go as high as $1000 or more. In our raffle you
have two chances to win a pet portrait, each valued at over $200,
and each done in a unique style.
Dogs
Deserve Better has spent approximately $3800 in March and April
of 2005 to vet rescued, formerly chained or penned dogs and to fence
yards for dogs who have lived chained! We have an immediate
need for funding to continue our efforts for the chained and penned
dogs. You can help by joining our raffle.
